Case Study 1
Saving £11,339 per month – AR Lunn Transport
AR Lunn Transport is a transport and warehousing organisation based in Hull.
Offering complete logistic services, the company operates a fleet of approximately 90 trucks, including 44-tonne high-spec tractor units, a modern fleet of trailers and curtainsiders. AR Lunn’s average monthly fuel consumption is 221,000 litres.
As a forward thinking company, AR Lunn is always looking for ways to improve its profitability, while maintaining an excellent and cost-effective service for its customers.
Putting Greener Saving™ to the test
When managing director, Andrew Lunn, heard about the fuel and environmental benefits of Greener Saving™, he was interested in testing whether or not the product lived up to its claims.
“It’s natural to be sceptical of any product that claims to offer such significant cost and environmental savings. After all, if something sounds too good to be true, it usually is too good to be true. However, I was impressed by Greener Saving™’s shipping pedigree, which is why I took the decision to trial the product.”
The Greener Shipping team monitored the performance of 5 trucks taking part in the 6-month trial and compared the results against existing data.
Seeing the savings
Even taking into account a route change for one trial vehicle, which resulted in it carrying a heavier load during the Greener Saving™ trial, AR Lunn experienced an average 7% fuel saving.
Andrew commented:

Case study 2
Hemmerlin Transport now saving over £250,000 per year
When Hemmerlin Transport introduced Greener Saving™ into its 160 strong fleet of trucks, the company was unprepared for the impact.
Drivers began to remark on the difference in their trucks engines, which were running quieter and with greater power.
Yet the most significant difference was the huge cost savings.
Thanks to the introduction of Greener Saving™, Hemmerlin realised savings of over 7% on its fuel costs.
Hemmerlin is a large operation, using over half a million litres of diesel each month - and the savings were equally large.
Monthly net savings were £22,497, equating to an annual saving of £269,964.00.
Not surprisingly, Denis Marquis, transport analyst at Hemmerlin Transport was delighted with the results. He said:

Thomas Transport enjoying 7% saving on new truck fuel costs
Since October 2009, Thomas Transport has enjoyed the cost saving benefits of Greener Saving™.
The transport organisation operates 35 trucks, which travel from factory to factory. Yet, as soon as Thomas Transport added Greener Saving™ to its fuel storage tank, the company noticed a significant difference in its fuel costs.
Managing director of Thomas Transport, JC Thomas, said:
“The results are impressive, with savings of over £6,000 on fuel costs per month.”
In fact, Thomas Transport reported over 8% fuel cost savings on its older vehicles and 7% saving on its new, fuel-efficient vehicles.

Rouillon Transport saving over 2 litres of fuel every 100km
It almost seems inconceivable that Greener Saving™ can achieve such phenomenal cost savings on fuel.
Keen to know if the claims were true, Rouillon Transport agreed to trial Greener Saving™ in a sample of its trucks.
The results were significant. The tests revealed that trucks dosed with Greener Saving™ saved over 2 litres of fuel per 100km.
Amazed by the results, Dominique Rouillon, managing director, Rouillon Transport, said:

Scientific Test 1
BOSCH proves Greener Saving™ reduces emissions
The Bosch Group is a leading global supplier of technology and services working in automotive, industrial technology, consumer goods and building technology.
At its independent fuel testing facility, BOSCH tested the effect Greener Saving™ has on emissions.
It reported that:
“The results show a significant decrease in exhaust emissions: 92.13% reduction at ‘ticking over’ rotation and 96.84% at ‘set up’ rotation”.
This is scientific proof that using Greener Saving™ significantly reduces emissions.
Scientific Test 2
INTERTEK CALEB BRETT concludes Greener Saving™ is beneficial to engines
One of the world’s largest independent fuel testing laboratories, Intertek Caleb Brett, tested Greener Saving™ and conclusively proved that the product:
• Works
• Improves engine performance
• Improves engine longevity
The extensive study looked particularly at Greener Saving™’s lubricity. The findings stated:
“This test indicates that the quality of lubrication when the product is present increases. This in turn decreases the wear and tear typically caused by movement between engine parts. The product is therefore beneficial to engines.”
